Boo Ray

Once I was good and hooked on guitars, early on I noticed a bunch of the top pickers I liked from country, blues, rock and bluegrass seemed to use the 1mm Clayton Acetal pick with the brown eagle on it. Then my friend, artist James A Willis designed some great artwork for me, and ever since I've been ordering Clayton Custom 1mm Acetal picks with the James Willis hand-drawn graphic printed on one side and my website on the backside.

You might have heard Boo Ray on SiriusXM Outlaw Country, or Tom Petty Radio, seen him at Pilgrimage Festival, Americanafest, or caught Boo Ray live with his "Shod-Hot Nashville Band" at Chief’s On Broadway, Star Rover Sound, Acme Feed & Seed, and Skinny Dennis.

Based in Nashville, and originally from the mountains of Western North Carolina, "Boo Ray is a southern troubadour who’s forged and honed his sound in South Georgia honky-tonks, Gulf Coast jukes, Nashville nightclubs & Los Angeles songwriter joints.” – Rolling Stone

Boo Ray’s been dropping a new single every 6 weeks or so from his new series of singles produced by Nashville ace Sol Littlefield. Big Wheels, Western Skies, It Ain’t Mine, Broken Hearts Are Paint, and "Birds Don't Sing" are OUT NOW, and a new single is coming soon.

Check out Boo Ray’s SiriusXM Outlaw Country hits: Redneck Rock & Roll, Bad News Travels Fast, I Got The Jug, I Seen Me Do It, One More Round, A Tune You Can Whistle, Twenty Questions, Sea Of Lights, Six Weeks In A Motel, his 4 full-length albums, and his collaboration series with Elizabeth Cook, Lilly Winwood, and Chef Sean Brock.
