Sarah Sheriff

"I love Clayton picks because every detail matters—size, shape, texture, and quality all play a critical role in creating the right feel and tone. The right pick isn’t just a tool; it’s part of the process. When the pick feels perfect in your hand, you can stop worrying about technique and focus entirely on the sound you’re creating."

Sarah Sheriff is a Central Pennsylvania–based guitarist who tours with rising country artist Gillian Smith as lead guitarist and musical director. She plays a central role in shaping the band’s sound and live show, performing on major stages across the U.S. alongside artists like Brooks & Dunn, Clint Black, Bret Michaels, Lainey Wilson, and Luke Bryan.

With more than 30 years of experience and a formal education in music, Sarah is a seasoned performer known for her versatility and command of the stage. Comfortable moving between country, classic rock, and praise and worship, she brings depth and authenticity to every performance.

Her influences—including Vince Gill, Jerry Cantrell, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and Billy Gibbons—inform a style that blends soulful expression with raw grit and precision. Whether driving a song with leads or adding texture with subtle dynamics, Sarah’s playing is both powerful and intentional.

Always chasing the next challenge, she continues to grow as a musician and leader, bringing passion and energy to every stage she steps onto.
