Pick of the Week – Young & Desperate

This week we have a Rounded Triangle Yellow Delrin pick for the band Young & Desperate.  They are a female fronted Dutch band. They recently won a big national Dutch band contest Make More Music. This band is known for their amazing live performances. Their first national single is recorded with Michel van Schie (Anouk, Van Velzen, Evers Slaat Door, and many, many more). Themed Picks

Sometimes, one type of custom pick just isn’t enough. Steve Clayton, Inc. customers often choose to order several different varieties of custom picks with the same, or similar, designs.  Shown in this image are examples of guitar picks that have been ordered in sets so that there was not a limitation of one pick type. The first set of picks in the image has three different animation designs, printed in different colors on white pearl, ultem and orange delrin picks. They customer even tried different shapes…using standard and small teardrop. The second set is a great example for advertising because [...]

Silhouette Picks

Sometimes, less is more, and this can definitely be true when designing Clayton custom picks. We wanted to show off these designs, because the simplicity of the artwork actually draws more attention to them. The customers who designed these picks all chose to use a silhouette design, which will look great on any pick material that Clayton offers for custom design. This is a great way to have a single color print (which is less expensive than full color) and still have a cool graphic to make the picks personal. Some customers will choose to put photos on their picks, [...]

Groomsman Picks

It is very popular for customers of Steve Clayton, Inc. to order custom guitar picks for a wedding. We have seen them used for many purposes, such as scattering on tables, favors for guests, part of wedding invitations, etc. One idea that we really like is to use custom picks for groomsmen gifts. During the preparation for the wedding, it is common for a groom to want to give a gift to his groomsmen as a thank you for their participation in the wedding. If the groom and his pals are into music, custom picks are the perfect way to [...]

Happy Birthday Steve!

Yesterday, June 16, was a special day here at Steve Clayton, Inc. Steve celebrated his 60th birthday!! And what better way to celebrate than with custom picks? The staff here surprised Steve with a decadent chocolate cake, decorated with candles and some custom birthday guitar picks made especially for the occasion! The picks were our green delrin material, imprinted fondly with the text “Happy Birthday Steve!! 2010.”  The picks made a great decoration, as they were very easy to stick in the frosting on the edge of the cake to add some flare. This is a great example of how [...]

Sometimes, visitors to our custom website are curious to know if there is anyway to get custom picks made in a set of less than 100 picks, because 100 is the minimum quantity for most of our custom orders. But the answer is yes! We offer text-only picks as an option for those customers who are not ready to order 100 picks yet. Text-only picks are made on our colored delrin material. The only stipulations are that they come in standard shape only, and cannot have any
