I’m proud to be endorsed by Steve Clayton, and look forward to a long relationship with this incredible musical family.”

Raised in Katy, Texas (a small town just a few miles west of Houston), Stacey knew at age 5 exactly what he wanted to be one day…..a singer/musician. The son of singer/musician parents, Stacey watched them play night after night in Houston’s most popular night clubs and restraunts throughout the 70‘s and 80‘s. While Stacey’s father was touring as George Strait’s opening act in the early 80’s, Stacey would watch the musicians and study their every move while trying to emulate their chord positioning and drum patterns, eventually learning to play each instrument by ear. By the time Stacey had reached 10 years old, he could play along on the guitar, bass, or drums to just about any song he heard on the radio.

After turning 18, Stacey began playing in local bands and performing in the hottest night clubs in Houston, as well as touring across the state and across the country. Every band that Stacey played in was well in demand, including World Edge, The Limos, Arrival, and Toy Subs. Four of the bands Stacey played in during the 90’s were nominated for “Band of the Year” by the Houston Press, a local Houston newspaper. Stacey was being hired as a singer, guitarist, bass player, and drummer for live performances, recording sessions, commercial jingles, as well as playing for the Houston Texans, the Houston Astros, the Houston Rockets, the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, Coca Cola, Budweiser, Shiner Bock, 101 KLOL, 94.5 The Buzz, 93.7 The Arrow, 93Q Country, 100.1 KILT, 97.1 Country Legends, Miller Brewing Company, Pro Mark drumsticks, and countless other corporate events and sponsorships, establishing himself as a successful solo artist and musician. In 2006, Stacey was also nominated in the Texas Buzz Music Awards for “Record of the Year”, “Song of the Year”, and “Band of the Year” while playing lead guitar with his band, LIFE OF RILEY. Stacey has also been endorsed by The Miller Brewing Company, Shiner Bock, Jagermeister, ProMark drumsticks, Steve Clayton custom picks and accessories, and Budweiser.

Up to now, Stacey has played all over the country, been featured on VH1, performed and recorded with Grammy nominated and Grammy winning artists and producers, made a ton of albums and music videos (including 3 albums and 2 music videos with Ty Tabor of the rock band, King’s X), and he’s either recorded, toured, or played with countless acts like Blue October, King’s X, Solange Knowles, Pantera, Enuff Z’Nuff, Motley Crue, Piggy D (Rob Zombie), Kenny Wayne Shepard, Loverboy, Poison, Guiffria, Clint Black, Zebra, Third Eye Blind, Galactic Cowboys, Dio, Cheap Trick, Tonic, Atomic Opera, Doug Supernaw, Sixpence None the Richer, Sebastian Bach of Skid Row, Drowning Pool, Roger Joseph Manning, Jr., (Jellyfish, Beck, Cheap Trick), and MANY more.

Stacey has put the finishing touches on his first solo country album with Grammy winning producer/engineer, Brian Garcia (Kelly Clarkson, Avril Lavigne, King’s X, Our Lady Peace, Diana DeGarmo, etc). The album is slated for release in the winter of 2013.
