Chris Martin is an up and coming singer/songwriter/guitarist from the Emerald Coast of Florida, born and raised in Pensacola. His roots in traditional country music, from George Strait to Keith Whitley, have helped shape his contemporary country music sound. Chris’ easy going manner is completely evident in his smooth vocal style, delivering a uniquely recognizable “blue-eyed soul” meets “Nashville drawl” in his renditions of current country hits as well as original material. Backed by the “hottest little band in P’Cola”, the Chris Martin Band has made an indelible mark on the regional music scene, having achieved some impressive milestones for a band just over a year old. Not content to follow the typical “bar band” business model, the Chris Martin Band continue to hone their craft at fairs, festivals and concerts in the SE and beyond. With a Nashville produced, all original EP released in March 2014, and having shared the stage with the likes of Bo Bice, Charlie Daniels and Southern Rock legends Lynyrd Skynyrd, the future continues to look very bright for this new country artist and his band.
