We also offer Custom Drumsticks starting at only $44.00 (single color print) for 5 pairs! Just like our custom guitar picks you will be getting a high quality imprint on your sticks. These are a specialty item for us so they do take about 3-4 weeks to be made but the wait is definitely worth it! The artwork on our drumsticks are also sealed with a lacquer finish. Currently the drumsticks are offered in size 2b which is ideal for durability and heavy use. With drumsticks the imprinted design options are practically endless as any color seems to turn out amazing, however, we cannot imprint white ink. Anything that is in your design that is white will show through as the natural wood color of the stick. Drumsticks can be ordered at http://www.claytoncustom.com/drumsticks/ and if you have any questions/concerns before ordering we are always here to help! Just email our custom imprint specialists at email@example.com or give them a call at 877-752-9484!

Dia De Los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is a holiday celebrated mainly in the Mexican culture, but other cultures as well, to honor the lives of friends and family members who have passed away. This holiday spans from October 31st, when many people also celebrate Halloween, through November 2nd. Even though it is nowhere near that time of year right now, I wanted to feature these awesome Dia De Los Muertos custom guitar picks that were created and ordered by a Clayton Customer. I just love the variety of color, the eye-catching design, and how the white pearl picks give the design an almost 3-D effect. Flower-patterned, colorful skulls like this are very common in art and make-up used to commemorate the Day of the Dead. We also see art like this often on custom wedding guitar picks for weddings that have themes inspired by Mexican culture.

Every once in a while we like to showcase some custom wedding guitar picks that are ordered by our customers. Wedding picks are becoming more and more popular as a wedding item, so we get to see a lot of different types of designs! Custom guitar picks are great as a wedding item because they are small and make the perfect keepsake (especially if you have a lot of musicians at your wedding!) They can represent a couple’s love for music and they can be customized in a variety of ways, including dates, colors, photos, graphics, quotes, etc. The picks shown here were made on our acetal material, with a beautiful flower graphic, and simply the date as a perfect reminder for the guests of the special day spent with the couple. Check out our wedding pick site at http://www.customweddingpicks.com/!
Today we wanted to show off some of the creative wedding guitar picks designs that our customers have created! Custom wedding picks have become a very popular item, and they are used as favors, decorations, gifts, thank-you’s and announcements! Let your creativity loose by creating a really unique design like those shown below:
To the far left, the pick design mimics the opening title of The Simpsons TV show, but of course is replaced by the couple’s last name. This is a full bleed design on our acetal material guitar picks. For the middle pick, the couple chose to use a caricature of themselves (also full bleed art on acetal material). For the pick on the far right, the design is a very pretty bird and anchor graphic, and on the back of the picks is printed the couple’s names, their wedding date, and the the phrase “Flying High and Steady.” These were done on our white pearl picks, which helps to showcase the beautiful colors of the graphic and gives the picks a very classy “wedding look.”
Because of the popularity of wedding guitar picks, we have made a new website specifically to share designs and ideas; www.customweddingpicks.com. You can contact us directly with questions regarding wedding picks or how to order at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will be happy to assist you. We would also love to feature more ideas on our site, so if you are interested please let us know!

Are you looking for a custom guitar pick in a color that perfectly fits your design? Try out our colored pearl picks! Shown below is an example of how a customer fit their design together with the colored pearl pick option:
The customer had the text “Hot Copper,” and they chose a flame graphic from our clip art library. Then, they chose a copper color for the picks so that all elements of the design go together!
Our colored pearl picks are the same celluloid material as the white pearl picks, but they can be custom color matched in addition to having a custom design printed on them. When you place your order, there is a full color palette to allow for the color choice for the picks. This is a great option if our other picks don’t come in the exact color you are looking for. Also, colored pearl picks are wonderful for weddings since they can be matched to specific wedding colors!

Hey Clayton customers! Check out these cool designs that are being submitted by some of our other customers! Both of these picks were designed for weddings, and we love how creative they are! Both are two-sided designs. The top pick design was made on our white pearl material, with full bleed art that almost covers the entirety of the pick, so it gives the appearance of being golden on one side and pink on the other. Of course, both sets of picks display the couple’s name and the wedding date. The second pick design is on our white delrin material, which really makes the red color of the tree pop. Both pick sets will be great as wedding favors that can tie into the wedding theme and impress guests with originality. Are you planning a 2012 wedding? This week at Steve Clayton, Inc., we had a really nice design submitted by a customer for guitar picks for his wedding. We wanted to write a blog about it, simply because the art is really cool! As you can see, the artwork includes a guitar, flames, roses, and the date of the wedding. The colors go really nicely together, and look awesome on our white delrin guitar pick material. The other side of the pick has the same design, but with the name of the happy couple instead of the date. Custom guitar picks can make a unique addition to any wedding. They are already pretty popular, but we want even more people to know about this option! This is why we have created a new website: customweddingpicks.com. This site is designed specifically to help out customers that are interested in custom wedding picks. We are always looking for more ideas to add to the site too! If you have photos of your custom picks from your wedding, or a cool wedding pick design like the one shown here, or have any questions about wedding picks, please write to us at email@example.com. To start designing your picks, visit claytoncustom.com!
We are very excited to announce the launching of our new site created specifically for wedding guitar picks!! Well, Valentine’s day has come and gone, but we wanted you to see some of the cute designs that we got from our customers! Custom picks with photos on them can make wonderful gifts. All of the picks shown in the image below were created on our white pearl material, which is often the best for photo designs. White pearl picks have a marbleized quality to them, which gives a classy look and also makes the images on them have a 3-D quality. These types of designs have been very popular lately, both for Valentines day and for wedding guitar picks. Try out your own design at www.claytoncustom.com today!
We wanted to draw some attention to these very nice, classy-looking pick designs that we have received recently. The pick on the right is one of our white pearl picks, which is a marbleized, glossy finish pick. The design is very elegant, and was created for a wedding, so our pearl material was a perfect choice. The pick on the left is a colored pearl pick, created for a jewelry store. They were looking for a gold color pick, and we were able to custom match the color according to their specifications, and we thought that they came out very nicely. Seeing these two pick designs together, and how the colors of the picks and the designs compliment each other gave us a good idea to share with you. If you are celebrating a wedding or other formal event that you are planning to use custom picks for, choosing both our white pearl picks and our colored pearl picks is a great way to go. Both picks have the beautiful marble quality, and the design for the white pearl picks can be matched with the color of the other picks, just like the two picks shown in the image. If you would like to try out this idea, you can place multiple orders at www.claytoncustom.com. Start designing today!
Sometimes, there just isn’t enough space on one side of a guitar pick to put everything you want on it, especially since guitar picks are so small! This is why we offer the double-sided printing option for most of our guitar picks. This opens up a whole new world of possibilities. Shown in these images are examples of double-sided guitar pick designs. The blue design is on our acetal material pick, and the customer chose to just duplicate the same design on both sides of the pick. The green design was done on acetal material as well, with a band logo on one side and a signature on the other. This is an awesome idea, because then you can order picks for several band members with the band logo on one side, but different signatures for different musicians on the back side. We don’t always recommend double-sided printing for our acetal picks since they are semi-transparent, but on both of these picks, the designs came out really well. The red design is for a wedding pick, and it is on our white pearl material. Double-sided printing is perfect for weddings, because you can have a graphic on one side of the pick, and the names of the couple and date of the wedding on the other side. To utilize the double-sided printing option, all you have to do is access our guitar pick designer at www.claytoncustom.com. Once you choose the pick material you would like, the interface will list your guitar pick options. If you mark the bubble for two-sided printing, you get twice the design space!

Thinking of creating a custom designed guitar pick? We wanted to let you know that we have a lot of graphics available in our design interface that you can use to help create your design! Some of our customers have specific logos that they want to upload into the design template, but others just want something really cool to put on their picks! Shown in this image are some examples of how customers used our graphics to create their designs. Included here are an orange delrin pick, a white pearl pick, and a white delrin pick. You can easily access our full library of graphics on our website. Start by going to www.claytoncustom.com, and clicking on the “Start Now” button. Once you choose your pick options, you will come to a window with a blank guitar pick. If you click on the “Add Image” button, you will have the option then to use your own graphic, or one of ours! We have many categories available for the graphics, including wedding, religion, shapes, nature, animals, and, of course, music! Explore the design possibilities on our website today!!
Here at Clayton, we offer three different white picks for custom design, including white delrin, acetal, and white pearl. If you are looking for a classy pick that is great for playing, or for use as a promotional tool, white pearl is optimal. Our white pearl picks have glossy finish, and they are marbleized, so they automatically have the “upscale look.” White pearls can be great with either single or full color designs, as shown in the image below. White pearl picks are also very popular for weddings, since they look nice and can support a design with any color in it. Our white pearl picks are available in six gauges ranging from a very thin .38 to an extra heavy 1.26. There are also two different shapes available for white pearl picks; standard (left pick in photo) and rounded triangle (right pick in photo). Design your white pearl pick on our custom website today!
We had to write a blog about this, because we have noticed that, lately, we have received numerous custom guitar pick orders for weddings that are on October 10, 2010. We have already discovered that custom guitar picks can be a very popular idea for use in weddings, and now we have even more wedding pick orders for this special date that is approaching! If you are planning a 10/10/10 wedding, or a wedding on any date in the near future, you should consider adding custom guitar picks to your planning. They can be used in save-the-dates, invitations, as favors for guests, as part of the decorations….you name it! Shown here are a couple of examples of some of the designs that we have gotten lately. We especially like the design for the ultem pick (on the right), because ultem is not a commonly chosen material for weddings, but this design looks awesome! The tan color of the ultem picks are great for weddings in autumn. They can support designs with red, brown, or black colors, so if these colors are in your wedding scheme, give ultems a try! Design your custom wedding guitar picks today at www.claytoncustom.com.
Did you know that Clayton can customize guitar picks using full color photos? We can!! Shown here are some examples of custom guitar pick designs submitted by our customers who chose to use photos of themselves to customize their picks. We can do full color or greyscale photos on any of our white material picks. In this photo, all three white pick materials that we offer for customization are represented; white pearl, white delrin, and acetal (left to right). The photo on the far left was a perfect match for our white pearl picks, because it has water in the background and the marbleized material added the perfect effect. The photo in the middle was converted to greyscale for a classic look, and the photo on the right looks fantastic on our acetal material. Custom guitar picks with personal photos on them can be a great promotional item for solo artists or bands. Photos can also be perfect for wedding guitar picks! Upload your photo into our custom design interface today at www.claytoncustom.com.
Are you looking for a bright pick that will catch people’s attention? Or maybe you just want a very specific color for your guitar picks? Give our colored pearls a try! We offer colored delrin custom guitar picks, but sometimes we find that customers are looking for a very specific color that is not available in delrin. Also, the colors of the delrins are dictated by the gauges (for example, red = .5mm gauge), but sometimes someone is looking for a color of pick in a different gauge than the one offered for colored delrin. This is when we recommend the colored pearls because they come in a very wide variety of colors, and several gauges. For our colored pearl picks, we offer .3, .5, .63, .8, 1, 1.26, and we have both standard and rounded triangle shapes. Colored pearls make great wedding picks, because they can be matched to the color scheme of the wedding, and they have a classy, marbleized look. Design your custom colored pearls today…but don’t forget to make sure that your design is in black ink only!! Custom Design Site.
Are you looking to design a custom guitar pick, and you have a very specific color in mind? We want you to know that if you are designing a Clayton custom pick, and your choice of pick material is white, you are able to choose single color printing and have any color you want on your custom guitar picks! Shown here are the three types of white guitar picks that we offer, which include white delrin, acetal, and white pearl. Most customers who are choosing a single color design will pick black, but these are examples of customers who wanted another color for the print, and the pricing is the same! To have this option, all you have to do is choose “one color” for the print color options in our custom design page, and then click on the color box to choose which color you want for the print. If you use text in your custom pick design, the text will automatically be the color that you choose. If you have a graphic, the Clayton team will convert it to the color that you want! This can be an especially great option for wedding picks. Sometimes, the colors of picks that we offer do not match exact wedding colors. So, instead, you can choose a white pick and have your design printed in a color that matches the wedding scheme perfectly! Design your custom pick today at www.claytoncustom.com
It is very popular for customers of Steve Clayton, Inc. to order custom guitar picks for a wedding. We have seen them used for many purposes, such as scattering on tables, favors for guests, part of wedding invitations, etc. One idea that we really like is to use custom picks for groomsmen gifts. During the preparation for the wedding, it is common for a groom to want to give a gift to his groomsmen as a thank you for their participation in the wedding. If the groom and his pals are into music, custom picks are the perfect way to give a thank-you that is both creative and practical! Custom picks allow for the names or initials of the groomsmen to go on the picks, along with the date of the wedding, and maybe a graphic that adds to the design. It is even possible to add custom picks onto the boutonnières of the groomsmen for weddings that have a music theming. Shown here are two examples of groomsmen pick designs, created for green delrin and white delrin picks. If the groom and his guys have been in a band together, the band name can also go on the pick (see the white delrin design). This can add a special significance to these gifts that show appreciation for the friends that help pull the wedding together. If you have a wedding coming up and are looking for something special to add, design your wedding picks today at www.claytoncustom.com.
These picks show what summer is about. Weddings, butterflies, and enjoying nature are all popular during the summer season. These were all done on our white delrin custom guitar picks. The black and white wedding couple design is an image you can find on our claytoncustom.com website. Our white delrin custom guitar picks start at just $39 dollars for 100 picks. What impresses me about our white delrins is they provide such a comfortable grip and they have a very clean white look. Let’s not forget that they are as light as a feather. Show what you love about summer on your picks! You can create custom picks by clicking here!
When customers are designing custom picks to order from us, we usually advise against light colors because they don’t always print as well as bold, bright designs. However, if you have an awesome design with some lighter shades in it, we definitely recommend our acetal picks. Acetals are white, with a slight opaque quality to them. They are available in eight different gauges ranging from .38 mm to 1.9mm. They are also available in three different shapes; standard, rounded triangle and teardrop. We usually recommend acetal picks for photo designs as well. Because acetals are “grainy” and opaque, they hold light colors and lots of detail better than some of the other picks we offer for custom design. Shown here are some light-colored designs that we are proud of. The cupcake pick in this image was a good alternative to pink delrin, so that it could have a full color design instead of just black. The pick with caricatures on it is for a wedding…the perfect whimsical favor to give to guests! So if you tend to gravitate towards the lighter side when creating your custom pick designs, definitely go for acetal, starting at just $49 for 100 picks!! Design your pick here.
Our custom picks have excellent picture quality and we just thought we’d share a couple performers who have chosen to place their photo on our custom picks. We recommend photos to be put on our acetal picks. Customers have used photos for wedding occasions, couples, and band members who are promoting themselves. On the back side of these picks customers will have their signatures, band website, names and dates for weddings or special occasions. These picks here all have the full bleed option taking the image to the edge of the pick that way they are able to fit more on the pick.
The designer is really simple to use to adjust your artwork or photo image. You can zoom in on a particular part of an image, move it around and make it fit just on the guitar pick template. As a suggestion when placing lettering in a photo try to find a spot where the lettering has a solid background so it is legible just like the ones on these picks. If you need help with sizing your photo or getting artwork to fit on the guitar picks please send us your questions at email@example.com. Our custom design team will be happy to help you with any questions you have on an order. You may also call us at 1.877.752.9484 M-F 9am-5pm PST.
This week, we wanted to draw attention to our pink delrin custom picks at Steve Clayton. Shown here are some pink delrin pick designs that we really like. Black is the only printing option for pink delrins, but we think that the black and pink look great as a color combination. Pink delrins are also preferable for some customers because of the gauge sizes offered. We have other colored delrins available for custom printing, including red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple. For these, the color of the pick always dictates the gauge. With the pink delrins, we offer three different gauges: Thin (.5) Medium (.8) and Heavy (1mm). Pink picks are perfect for guitar players who want to have personalized picks to play with or give out to fans. They can also be great for events, such as weddings or birthdays. Next time you are starting a new design on our custom site, consider picking pink!
Here’s another look at some cool designs that we have been producing recently. We have noticed that some great spring-time art has been submitted throughout the months of March and April. The designs shown here all use birds and trees, and we feel that this art is both aesthetically pleasing and works well on the small design space of the custom picks. It seems that birds and trees are a trend in the world of graphic art currently…and now they are showing up at Steve Clayton, Inc.! The pick materials vary for these designs. Included in the photo here are ultem, white delrin, and white pearl. Both of the bird design picks shown are also further examples of wedding picks. If you would like to try out your own spring design, visit our custom pick design website!
Robert Kearns is now our featured artist! He is the current bassist from Lynyrd Skynyrd and will be touring with them for 2010. The band talks about his audition and how they were impressed by his talent in the video below. Kearns chooses to play with our acetal rounded triangle picks. He enjoys how they feel when he plays with them and says they create a better tone than other guitar picks. Kearns is also from the south and fits right in with the band. We are looking forward to his year with the hall of famers and wish the best luck! To find out more about Robert Kearns and Lynyrd Skynyrd you can visit their website www.lynyrdskynyrd.com
Lately, at the Clayton custom department, we have been noticing some really cool black and white designs created by our customers, and we wanted to show them off! All of these designs were created for white delrin picks, and they have a really classy look. Using a full bleed black and white design can create the illusion of having a patterned pick, such as the pick shown on the farthest left. There is a lot of freedom with these kinds of designs, even though only one color is used, and they are always eye-catching. Whether they are for a band, a wedding, or a business promotion, black and white art is an example of how simplicity can often be the best way of creating an appealing design.
the date, while others choose to add matrimonial graphics. We even have a special section in our online custom designer that has images specifically for wedding picks. More durable than anything printed on paper, the custom wedding picks are the perfect favors to give out that will help your guests remember your special day. Shown here are a few examples of the wedding
picks that we love, printed on white delrin and acetal. Also, our own employee Rob chose to design picks for his brother’s wedding (shown at right on light blue pearl)and he says that his brother and sister-in-law
both loved the picks and appreciated the originality of the idea. If you are looking for a fun addition to your wedding, consider custom picks from Clayton!
Here at Clayton, Inc, we have decided to feature a custom pick each week from now forward! We think this is a great way to showcase many of the great picks we make for bands every day. Keep checking in each week to see a new featured pick and band from us.
This week we selected a pick we made for the Nancy Kenyon Band. We loved how colorful and detailed this pick turned out on our white delrin .80mm material. It is a great example that shows what amazing detail and color we can produce onto a guitar pick. We also enhanced this pick by using glossy ink to really make the graphic “pop” on the pick. We had a great time learning more about Nancy Kenyon and her high energy female country style. She has been doing acoustic style shows for over 15 years! Now within the past few years she has a full band and is starting to do big venues. Her next notable show will be at Jillian’s in Albany, NY, which will be an after party for Carrie Underwood’s Albany concert. It begins at 11pm if any of you are interested in seeing this amazing band! To find out more about the Nancy Kenyon Band Please visit: www.myspace.com/nancykenyon
