David Gallegos

From soft and mellow to fiery and passionate, the music of David Gallegos is an all acoustic, instrumental latin new age / nuevo flamenco style. David, having picked up the guitar at the age of 13, has been playing well over 27 years now. Originally playing rock and metal for the greater portion of his career, David eventually began listening to and writing music with a softer, more emotional touch. In 2003, he decided to branch off from the progressive metal writing with his band, Power of Omens, and begin work on his first full-length latin new age CD. At that time, already a 12 year veteran to the music industry, David had 2 internationally released CDs, a contribution to a Queensryche tribute CD, and as a guest artist on one of Sony Recording Tejano Artists, Eddie Gonzales’ CD under his belt. He took his experience and decided to write, record, design, and release his first solo CD completely on his own. After a year of hard work, the CD, ‘Mis Recuerdos’ was finally self-released in the Fall / Winter of 2004. Now with a completed CD, and the desire to begin showcasing his music, David became a member of BMI in 2005, and decided to move from his home in San Antonio to Dallas, where he felt he would have better opportunities playing out and getting recognition for his music. Since the beginning of 2006, his band has aggressively begun to play out. From wine bars and bistros to restaurants and festivals. As regulars at various venues through out the DFW area, his band also became a sought after act for festivals as well, such as the Morton Meyerson Symphony Hall’s Hispanic Festival in Dallas’ beautiful art district 3 years in a row and Ft. Worth’s Musicarte Festival in Sundance Square. After four long years since the release of his first CD, David finally released his follow up CD, Mi Rosa Blanca in the early part of 2009. Inspired by love and passion, this CD combines traditional flamenco rhythms with serene new age melodies to create an ambient soundscape with a Latin flare. With this new CD in pocket, there is so much in store for David and his band… so keep a look out for him, and always check his websites for upcoming events and happenings.

Pick of the Week — Bodega Bob

This week’s Pick of the Week was created by guitarist Bodega Bob. The picks are acetal material, with a really cool, colorful graphic that makes them stand out amongst the picks we have made recently. Here is a little info about Bodega Bob, in an exerpt taken from his bio at http://www.cheapandeasymusic.com/bodega.htm: “Bodega Bob has been slingin’ a six string since the age of fifteen. Raised in the border territories between West Virginia and western Pennsylvania he cut his teeth on Hank, Johnny, Lester & Earl. In a bizarre and humorous twist of fate, Bodega BobBodega was introduced to Polka recording stars Wanda & Stephanie and Frankie Yankovich and blew trumpet on the Polka circuit for several years with the Moleks in such bands as the Silver Stars and the Polka Dynamics. During his Vietnam & Cold War era Navy career, Bodega played guitar in liberty barrooms across two oceans and five of the seven seas. His experience as an acoustic street musician in Spain & Africa provided him with a rich and earthy outdoor sound that removes any barriers between the audience and the musicians. Over his musical journey, Bodega has performed with such diverse personalities as Christian Music vocalist & recording artist Jamie Lambert, Irish balladeer Eddie Delaher, Memphis recording artist Wendell Craig, and most recently as the front man for the successful regional trio Trigger Happy.Bodega’s original songs range from the funny to the gritty…and his affinity for the box guitar and his barroom-bass vocals form the crux of Cheap & Easy’s earthy sound.” Find out more at http://www.cheapandeasymusic.com/. Pick of the Week — The Pears

This week’s Pick of the Week is an acetal rounded triangle pick with an awesome design created for a band called The Pears. “The Pears are a musical trio, formed in 2010, and are located 50 miles north of NYC, in the western portion of Connecticut. Their music spans all generations with a focus on the 90s and 2000s. Each of the band members brings a unique talent to their arrangements, often delivering a new perspective on a popular composition. Acoustic in nature, the band carries a huge sound with a small footprint, and provides an ever-changing mix of covers and originals. The band’s chemistry and passion for music has taken them to multiple venues, enjoying every second of their performances, while casting a contagious energy across their audiences. The band is planning to release their original music in the fall of 2011.” The Pears would like to thank Clayton USA for the opportunity to participate in their Pick of the Week blog. The Pears members: Angela – Vocals, Guitar; Chuck – Guitar, Vocals, Mandolin; and Nancy- Percussion, Vocals. Keith Moody

Keith Moody has been endorsed with us since 2010 and we wanted to share with your his biography. Please check out his website to listen to his music and find out when his shows are! http://keithmoody.com/

Keith Moody is a triple threat, who not only can sing and tear it up on the guitar but also writes on a level far above most of his peers. His unique music is a place where rock, blues and  country cross paths on the way to a remarkably contemporary sound. Through his constant touring, Keith is a seasoned performer who is known for his strong work ethic, passion for music and determination to persevere. He has played over 100 dates each of the last 2 years growing his story at each stop along the way. With his over 10 years of experience, the journey continues through the support of his fans, friends and family which has transformed him into a modern music juggernaut working at the grass roots level to forge a name for himself at the forefront of the music industry’s future. Keith’s debut album as a solo artist, The Only Ride You Can Get, received airplay on over 130 terrestrial radio stations as well as significant internet play. Both the first single, “Press Gas and Go”, followed by the second, “Think” have become well known standards that have the crowd singing along. This album gave Keith recognition for his songwriting ability which includes strong hooks and a unique musical creation. His sophomore release in the summer of 2010 is an EP entitled Lines. This EP is a continuation of the same strengths of song as his first album. It also shows the growth of Keith as an artist who has settled into an alternative roots rock style that will be his signature moving forward. “The first record made me proud. It was a good record. It marked a time of transition for me. With this EP you can tell the electric guitar was in mind when it was written. I think I finally found an identity where you can see how my career is steering from here on out. I have a sound that is unique to me.” The EP also features Keith’s first venture into co-writing material on one of his own records. The closing track “Red Line” was co-written by fellow Alabamians, Bryan Jackson and Shawn Miller. Moody possesses a maturity and depth that belies his age, and that depth no doubt seeps into every note of his music. This depth combined with a myriad of personal influences is a powerful combination evident throughout his material. These influences range from the straight-up soul of Ray Charles, to the bluesy grooves of John Mayer and the quirky, clever lyrics of southern treasure Tom Petty, it’s all in there. Keith feels he not only creates the song’s lyrics, but also arranges it completely in his head as well before he ever sets foot into a studio. “Like most people my age I listened to a variety of music and owned albums across all genres, such as The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Garth Brooks, George Strait, and Bruce Springsteen, which is why I have a hard time fitting music into a particular bin. If it is good, it’s good so why does it matter?” Keith’s guitar is essentially a part of him. He and his Paul Reed Smith McCarty have been through some hard times, and some good times. Keith is proud of every knick and scrape his axe has taken up ‘til now. “I have a real relationship with that guitar,” explains Keith. “Most PRS’ you see are very nice, and kept pristine in cases, and mine has been played in about every dive bar across the Southeast, it smells, and it has pieces rubbed off of it and knicks out of it. Give me about 20 more years, and hopefully it will be beaten like Willie’s. That thing is like a part of me.” Just how close Moody is with his instrument is revealed immediately the minute he launches into one of his soul-searing solos. The two become one as he morphs easily as he plays among the strings, one minute he’s channeling the heart of a 60-year-old bluesman in a number that will melt the house and your heart, the next he’s calling up the ghosts of Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughn in a full-tilt, scorching rocker. Born and raised in Alabama, Keith grew up in a two-parent working family. “My grand-dad gave my first real guitar for Christmas when I was 17.” Keith formed his first band, Mostly Harmless, that same year with a buddy from high school. As with many Southern performers his first performances were in church youth group shows. “One of the moments I will always remember was when my first song was on the locals only show of the Montgomery radio station when I was 18.” He continued to hone his musical chops throughout college by observing other artists as he worked in a local music store and played in local venues with his band. He recorded his first demo album in a local studio with his own money at age 20. By 21, word of his talent was already spreading, and he was receiving write-ups in local papers and gaining a significant reputation among local musicians for his guitar skills and performing antics. “One of the things I am most proud of was my organization of showcase for local artists by getting the venue, sponsors and advertising for the event. It gave me an appreciation of the business part of music. As a result I will always have an appreciation for my friends and supporters in the Montgomery and surrounding area.” With some good advice from a local musician, Keith fostered his abilities even further with pursuit of writing and performing his original music. “Basically I had gotten a job at a guitar store in Montgomery and met a guy named Roland “Lucky” Jackson, said Keith. “He was an old school funk, jazz, and blues player and also a songwriter and arranger himself. I learned a lot about music from him as far as theory and how things are put together as well as the business side of it. He told me I was a natural songwriter, and that I didn’t need to give up on the original thing. Then one day, these two younger kids came into the store, and we formed a new band, The TaxiCab Armada.” The Armada performed for the next four years locally and into Florida. After finishing college and working a regular job for awhile, I thought I was going to give up music. “Music is just my love and I can’t let it go so it didn’t take much convincing for me to relocate to Nashville with my family in 2005 and pursue my passion.”  The wisdom and maturity of his debut and sophomore projects should separate him from the pack and with writing chops and musicianship like his, there’s no doubt he’ll one day be propelled into a stratosphere with stars much like the ones he idolized growing up…and will soon become one of them himself. Just don’t try to separate him from that McCarty.

Stefano of Wheels of Fire

Stefano has been endorsed with us since 2010…here is a little about the band taken from their website:

“Until the present day the very lively Rock music scene of Los Angeles during the 80s hasn’t lost any of its cult like fascination.
The Roxy, Whisky A Go-Go, Rainbow Bar And Grill on Sunset Strip and the Troubadour a little further south are the locations in West Hollywood in which the eventual mega sellers entered the stage and where they still hang around today every once in a while.  This neighbourhood also seems to be made for a band like “Wheels Of Fire” and their band leader Davide “Dave Rox” Barbieri, who started his musical career as a keyboard player back in the early 90s in some local bands.  About ten years ago Dave discovered his passion for singing and to improve his skills he turned to Michele Luppi, who besides being a member of various bands, formerly of the Power Metal band Vision Divine and currently of the Melodic Metal act Killing Touch and the AOR project Los Angeles, is also active as a vocal coach. Before Dave made his dream of an “Old School” Melodic Rock album come true with “Wheels Of Fire”, he recorded the album “De Revelationibus Orbium Caelestium” with the Metal band Seventh Archangel in 2007. One year later “…As In A Deep Dream” with the Progressive Metal band Liquid Shadows followed. Beside the work in the studio Dave did a lot of gigs and meanwhile he is also a teacher for Modern Singing himself.

The foundation for “Wheels Of Fire” was layed back in 2006 when Michele Luppi heard some of Dave’s demos and subsequently offered his help to record an album. Eventually Michele produced “Hollywood Rocks” together with Dave and Michele can also be heard playing grand piano and singing background vocals. The studio line-up is completed by guitar player Stefano Zeni, who was in a cover band together with Dave, Roberto Galli on bass, as well as Andrea Zingrillo on drums. Roberto Priori (Killing Touch, Michele Luppi’s Heaven) took over the mix and the Mastering, and did an amazing job in delivering a great sounding record.

The songs of “Wheels Of Fire” are a captivating combination of all the elements that Melodic Rock and AOR fans love about this kind of music and that made these songs staples on mainstream radio twenty years ago. Pushed forward by powerful drums the mid- and uptempo rockers, like “Hollywood Rocks”, “You’re So Cool”, “What I Want”, “Everywhere I Go”, “Live Again”, “The Reason”, “Relax” and “Rock The World” also shine with their melodic guitar riffs and a heathy dose of crystal clear keyboards. As expected the verses of the songs always lead to a super catchy chorus and are crowned with a guitar solo. Rock ballads have always been a big plus of the Melodic Rockers and so the band has paid very careful attention to the softer moments “I Can’t Live Without You” and “Little Prayer”. They serve a decent portion of guitar power and the arrangements also include a grand piano, while the concluding master piece in this category, the bombastic eight minute epic “Love Nest” even adds a string section, making it a full blown wide screen listening experience.

After some changes in the band’s line-up with the incoming of Marcello Suzzani on bass, Fabrizio Uccellini on drums and Andrea Vergori on Keyboards, now the guys are ready to spread their music all over the world.”

Pick of the Week — Evan Frankel/Michael Alexander Blues Band/Young Turk

This week’s Pick of the Week was made for Evan Frankel, who is currently playing with the Michael Alexander Blues Band. Michael Alexander is formerly of Young Turk. “Young Turk was a great Miami based band that started out as a Rock band with a sleeze rock feel, sort-of like poison, but without all the big hair, spandex and make-up. When they came out they had great sounding tunes that could stand up to any of the typical Metal/Rock tunes of the 80’s. Their first release was a album entitled “Do you know where your daughters are?”. It was a great first effort equipped with songs that stuck in your mind when you heard them. One song had an anthem feel telling the listener to “Reach for that pot of Gold” while another song was a great ballad telling of the “Winter Nights” that keep calling.  They brought on stage with them an intense feeling of LETS PARTY that rubbed off on the crowd as they played and made every one feel the vibe!” Find out more about Young Turk by visiting http://www.myspace.com/young_turk_music. To learn about The Michael Andrews Blues Band, check out their video on http://www.youtube.com/user/bluescrumpet?feature=mhum. We loved the art that was used for Evan’s picks because it is creative, colorful, and unusual when compared with other designs submitted by customers. The design was printed on our acetal small teardrop pick material. Design your own picks at www.claytoncustom.com today!

Thom Turner of Wishpool

Thom has been endorsed with Clayton since 2010. Here is a little about the band Wishpool from their website:

“Wishpool is a band based out of Syracuse, New York. The band has been around in one form or another for about 4 years, but it’s current configuration began in late 2007. It is this group which has recharged the Wishpool name with a new creative spirit and a passion for meaning within the music. Syracuse is a blue coller town which has struggled to retain that value and the band’s style reflects this. There is nothing fancy or frilly about the songs or the band’s sound. It is straightforward and to the point with driving rythyms and meaningful, impassioned vocals.”

Pick of the Week — The Chin’s Mojo

The band that designed this week’s Pick of the Week is Chin’s Mojo. The following is a bio on the band, given by band member Tom Jordan: “The band is named after Chin, a human skull that was purchased on ebay. It’s a real skull, and we made a joke once about its magic powers, then proceeded to win a 3 night battle of the bands and re-named the band after him. Since that time (4 years ago), we’ve published various action shots from Chin’s possible history that feature his magic powers; such as bursting from a pyramid to punish the non believers, being worshiped by a monk, and, most recently, saving the world and Santa from spacemen. The band performs all original rock; our CD is sold on our website and Amazon.com. We’ve toured regionally in support of our CD, “The Mighty Chin’s Mojo”. We perform with a huge computer controlled light and laser show, including a guitar with Chin’s image that emits lasers and lots of lights. The guitar pick we’re discussing is a portion of the “Chin vs aliens” photo, shown below. This is Tom’s third Chin pick design; he orders a new pick design each year from Steve Clayton and the fans love them!” Make friends with The Chin’s Mojo at chinlovesme.com. Their creative and colorful pick design was done on Clayton, Inc., acetal material picks. Pick of the Week — Natalie Wattre

This week’s Pick of the Week was created by musician Natalie Wattré. “Natalie came up as a musician in the LA band the Extinct. She was one of the 2 large contributors of songs to the bands extensive repertoire. In the mid 1990’s the Extinct was signed to Sony Publishing. In 1997 Natalie left the Extinct and soon after found that she was more inclined to the independent way of life which lead to the beginning of Swirly Girl Records. Critics have said that her voice is ‘reminiscent of Janis Joplin’, ‘akin to the Tracy Chapman/Joan Armatrading school of throaty, emotional expression.’, ‘Emotionally driven’ and ‘Vocals that hold nothing back’. Her songwriting has been described as ‘Storytelling that makes the listener realize the unapparent realities of their surroundings. Music of reminiscence. Music to base your life on.'” Find out more about Natalie and her music at www.NatalieWattre.com. Natalie’s very classy pick design was produced on our acetal rounded triangle pick material. Pick of the Week — The M-80s

This week’s Pick of the Week design is a cool Americana logo for The M-80’s, done on our white pearl guitar pick material. Here is some info about the band, submitted by bassist/vocalist Michael Weidenbach: “The M-80s have been one of Clayton’s endorsed bands for a while now, but like many bands, we’ve been putting off ordering the custom guitar picks we really wanted. We finally submitted the order, and now we can’t wait for the delivery to arrive! We’re a 1980s-era tribute band from the Birmingham, Alabama area, and we play the rock & pop hits from the ’80s…the golden age of MTV.  We cover the popular styles & artists from the era, like The Cars and The Knack up through Madonna and The Go-Gos, all the way to Poison and Bon Jovi.  Authentic arrangements, tight harmonies, a surefire song list, high energy performances, and a sense of fun are what set us apart from your average rock band.  Especially the fun part…you just can’t take yourself too seriously when you play this stuff.” Band members include: Danielle Hardaman – Vocals; Michael Weidenbach – Bass, Vocals; Mike Tucker – Guitar, Vocals; Glenn Freeman – Keys, Guitar, Vocals; and Steve Lucas – Drums. Their website is:    www.M-80s.com and you can also find them on Facebook:  www.facebook.com/80srock

The Shiny Darks

The Shiny Darks have been endorsed with us since 2010, here is a little bit about their band:

It’s rock-n-roll with a kick to the face and a pat on the back. It’s true that “happy” and “positive” aren’t normally associated with aggressive music, but there’s more to The Shiny Darks than meets the eye. The thrillsome threesome from Houston, TX has managed to create a sound like no other- one that can start a pit and keep you smiling all at once. Epitomized in their newly released EP “Stab at Love”, The Shiny Darks’ transcend traditional punk, kick it up a notch, and slam it back down with some good ol’ rock-n-roll fun.
To create the magic, the Houston-based band took to the outskirts of the nation and found their resting place in Radiostar Studios (Weed, CA). It was there, through the eyes and ears of the great Sylvia Massy (Tool, Powerman 5000, Johnny Cash) and veteran studio/session musician turned producer Cameron McKenzie, “Stab at Love” came alive.
“Recording in Weed, CA with The Shiny Darks was definitely in my top five experiences of all time.” says Cameron. “Everyone there had nowhere to go but straight into rock history.”
“Recording The Shiny Darks could be the highlight of my career.” says Sylvia. “These guys live and breathe true rock-n-roll, dredged from the depths of dirty thoughts and high-school rejection. Bite marks bleed with the song ‘Stab’. Paul’s vocals and bass wrap around you like a warm strait-jacket. Gem’s drums drill into your temples like a lobotomy. Quenton’s guitars wake you up like a slap in the face. No kissy-kissy music here…”
“Stab at Love”, the first single off of the titular EP, explores loving and losing with the honesty of being freshly wounded. A heart that was, as the song pines, left “beating on the floor” now picked up and proudly displayed on the wounded’s sleeve.
“These songs are lyrically very personal to us. But everybody can relate. Love and loss in ‘Stab’ and ‘Photographs’, the desire for the ‘greener pasture’ and its ultimate disappointment in ‘Kennedy’, and surviving tough times in ‘Holiday’.” says Quenton Rockwell.
“Human nature is driven by two basic emotions: love and fear” says Paul Mendez. “These songs delve into the love side of things…mostly surviving the pain of it. We wrote about it and, to a degree, celebrate survival.”
Though “Stab at Love” boasts the flavors of rejection, pain, and agonizing heartache, the underlying theme which can all but be avoided is hope. The same could be said of each band member. Three very distinct personalities that are each tinged with optimism. “We want people to know that these times don’t last forever” says Gem Mendez (Paul’s baby sister). “There’s something else right around the corner. We wish for our music to touch those that have endured such pain and have fun with it, enough to take a peek at what good things are to come.”

Pimp My Pick!

Hey Clayton fans! Have you ever gotten custom guitar picks from us, but wanted to do something creative to help show them off? Check out Pimp My Pick at https://www.facebook.com/PimpMyPick. Pimp My Pick is a company that “will turn bass and guitar picks into necklaces that can forever be worn and displayed for all to see!” You can send them your favorite band or guitarist’s guitar/bass pick and they will transform it into rock art you can wear. “People will stop you in the street to comment on your rockin pick!”
They provide the service of wire wrapping your pick and attaching it to a comfortable leather necklace. The wire wrapping will securely hold your pick WITHOUT requiring any damage to the pick (example: making a hole through the pick). Keep in mind that the company does not provide the actual picks, so the best way to Pimp Your Pick is to create and order some custom picks from Clayton, Inc., at www.claytoncustom.com, and then get your necklaces made!

Rock Your Wedding!

This week at Steve Clayton, Inc., we had a really nice design submitted by a customer for guitar picks for his wedding. We wanted to write a blog about it, simply because the art is really cool! As you can see, the artwork includes a guitar, flames, roses, and the date of the wedding. The colors go really nicely together, and look awesome on our white delrin guitar pick material. The other side of the pick has the same design, but with the name of the happy couple instead of the date. Custom guitar picks can make a unique addition to any wedding. They are already pretty popular, but we want even more people to know about this option! This is why we have created a new website: customweddingpicks.com. This site is designed specifically to help out customers that are interested in custom wedding picks. We are always looking for more ideas to add to the site too! If you have photos of your custom picks from your wedding, or a cool wedding pick design like the one shown here, or have any questions about wedding picks, please write to us at weddingpicks@steveclayton.com. Pick of the Week — MESSER

This week’s Pick of the Week is an awesome, high-detail design submitted by the band MESSER. Here is some info about them from their Reverbnation site:

“MESSER started writing late July 2009. With only a handful of shows since then, the Dallas, Texas, group has raised the attention of industry and fans alike by the lightning fast rise of popularity, both locally and nationally. Although some bands prefer not to be compared to anyone, MESSER finds that fans of Soundgarden’s candor, Velvet Revolver’s swagger and the grind of Motley Crue’s music are taking notice. Their music can be described as a nod to the 90’s, with their roots firmly planted in the present, while still honing their original sound for 2011 and beyond. Together Javier Contreras – Guitar/Vocals, Dereak – Lead vocals, Kenn Youngar – Drums, and Maddox – Bass/Vocals, provide somewhat of a local super group assault on the senses.” Find out more about MESSER at reverbnation.com/messer. The pick shown is a red delrin pick, in a .50mm gauge, rounded triangle shape. Design your own custom picks today at www.claytoncustom.com!

Picks for a Cause!

During the past week, we have had the opportunity to make custom guitar picks to promote an awesome cause. We are excited about this organization, and we are so glad that they chose us to help support them! The Save the Ta-tas® Foundation and ta-tas® Brand was created by clothing designer Julia Fikse as a way to fight breast cancer using laughter and fun as a way to fight a serious disease. Her playful line of t-shirts and accessories include messages such as “save the ta-tas” and “friends don’t let friends lose ta-tas.”  Her messages of hope and humor have reached thousands of victims and survivors of breast cancer and have helped them to fight the disease with both strength and courage. ta-tas® Brand, which was started in 2004, donates 5% of gross sales year around to fight cancer. This is a unique, high and very risky commitment. They realize that women and families need support NOW so they also have an annual scholarship contest, support the Revlon Run Walk for Women and donate product year-round to independent fundraisers so others can raise funds for their favorite cancer charity. For more information, please visit www.savethetatas.com. The Save the Ta-tas picks were created, appropriately, on our pink delrin picks. Pick of the Week — Manifest Destiny

This week’s Pick of the Week is for Manifest Destiny, a band made up of longtime fans of The Dictators who never got a chance to see them live due to the geographic (and perhaps cultural) isolation of Fresno, CA. Comprised of local longtime musicians, Manifest Destiny (www.manifestdestinyrocks.com) is a musical tribute to The Dictators which aims to save rock and roll, or have the most fun failing in the attempt. Their genre definition is Rock, Rock & Roll, Proto-Punk, Post-Glam Rock, The Missing Link. Band members include Marvelous Jonny Manbeef (vocals), Zinck (guitar), Essé (drums), Squink (bass), Ross The Boss Too (guitar). They have an upcoming show too, on May 14th! Check them out on Facebook at:  http://www.facebook.com/pages/Manifest-Destiny-A-Tribute-to-The-Dictators/135507956517828. Their custom pick artwork, which is highly detailed and colorful, was printed on our acetal pick material. Design your own custom guitar picks today at www.claytoncustom.com!

Pick of the Week — Megan Redmond

This week’s featured pick was created for country music artist and songwriter Megan Redmond,  from Denver, CO. She has a beautiful design with great colors that turned out really well on our acetal picks.  Here is some information about Megan’s work, taken from her website: “Megan’s vocal strength and sound have been compared to a young Faith Hill with a pinch of Alison Krauss.  Megan’s music, and the covers she chooses, lean towards creating a fun, energetic emotional experience that all her fans can personally relate to. At only 15 years old, Megan Redmond is already making an impressionable impact on Nashville’s songwriting community.  Her ability to write radio-ready material to the likes of veteran Nashville songwriters has earned her the opportunities to collaborate with some of country music’s best.  A historical comparison is being made to the age and development of the songwriting strengths and ability of Taylor Swift.  Her songwriting skills are being sought by seasoned songwriters to bring her youthful relevance, energy, and creativity. Megan’s youthful spirit, combined with her mature sound and lyrical prowess, will be a fan favorite for audiences of all ages.  The only thing missing is her driver’s license. Megan has performed at numerous fairs and festivals around Colorado , and a number of renowned Nashville venues, as both an artist and songwriter. These venues include the world famous Bluebird Café,  12th and Porter, The Listening Room, and  many others. Megan’s fans and Nashville’s music business community are surprised when they find out just how mature and talented this teenager is.  Her stage presence and vocals, the depth of her songwriting, and her incredible focus and drive set her apart from the rest.” Visit http://www.meganredmond.com to learn more!
