Here is the Lover Under Cover biography, taken from their site at: http://www.myspace.com/loverundercovertheband. GREETINGS to all you wild childs out there and welcome to a reborn and stunning melodic metal act. Featuring one of Swedens absolute most powerfull voices…
MIKAEL ERLANDSSON, together with one of his best friends from early school years, MIKAEL CARLSSON.
You will find out that these talented guys realy will blow your mind out with metal as good as it can be. Screaming guitars, strong melodies and a vocal performance beyond devine. Ladies and gentlemen… I give you…
LOVER UNDER COVER !!! The first embryo of LUC goes back in time as far as 1982 when Mr E and Mr C were members in the southern rock act “Rain” together with one of Sweden’s most famous ZZ-Top lookalikes, Bengt Lundh. Setteled in the beautiful arcipelago outside Kungsbacka in the west of Sweden we all remember those crazy nights with Rock n roll ( and a couple of beers ) during endless Swedish summer nights. After that Mr E and Mr C were separated for a couple of years. Mr E working with his amazing and successful solo career and Mr C turned out to be semi professional musician and doing a lots of cover gigs at the pubs in the west of Sweden.
They bumped into each other a couple of times during the years and allways said that “we should realy do something togeather” Mr E started up Last Autumns Dream wich not need any further presentation i guess, and Mr C started up the first version of Lover Under Cover around 1992 with Daniel Boscovic as a lead singer.
Mr C and Mr B recorded about 30 songs during 4-5 years before they decided to go separate ways, and now…. 15 years later then finally Mr C and Mr E got the time and opportunity to take of in the project they always wanted to do. A new colorful, harder than ever version of LUC.  And the Saga continues……..’); The LUC picks were created on our black celluloid guitar pick material, which was perfect for their logo which has a black background. Pick of the Week — SOURMASH

We are excited and pleased to start 2012 off with the first Pick of the Week, made for the band SOURMASH! SOURMASH is an accomplished group of musicians hailing from Pennsylvania assembled to pay tribute to the guitar-driven music of the south.  Labeled as ‘100 Proof Southern Rock’, this band performs like the whiskey from which its name is derived – smooth with a strong finishing kick.  The band’s high-energy performances have become legendary in its brief existence.  Formed in 2010, the band has been a consistent headliner for motorcycle rallies, festivals, and clubs.  In addition, the band has opened for national acts, such as Blackberry Smoke.
The powerful SOURMASH performances showcase the band’s many talents.  Strong and clear vocals; a grinding three-guitar attack; lush harmonies of both voice and guitar; and the thunderous panache of bass and drums combine to define the SOURMASH sound.   The musicians also display their abilities playing keyboards, harp, mandolin and fiddle to increase the aural excitement.  The highlight of the show, however, is the participation of the crowd.  Whether the audience is dancing, singing along, or shouting “Hell Yeah!” – it is that energy that keeps SOURMASH alive.
Take a shot!
SOURMASH is:
Craig Harnish – Vocals
Tim Henry – Guitar, Mandolin, Vocals
Nick Farine – Guitar
Chuck Carner – Bass, Harp, Vocals
Ken Harnish – Keyboards, Guitar, Vocals
Matt Knapp  – Drums, Fiddle

Pick of the Week — Danny Jones Band

This week’s pick of the week was created by Danny Jones for the Danny Jones Band (DJB). “Danny is a versatile guitarist from in Northern California. Danny started playing guitar at the age of 12 after seeing childhood friend Larry Lalonde of Primus play Ted Nugent’s Cat Scratch Fever and Van Halen’s Ain’t Talking About Love. Danny became obsessed with the guitar; he began taking lessons with George Cole. George was a huge influence on Danny in his younger years, getting Danny interested in playing jazz standards, classical and country guitar. In Danny’s late teens, he began to study with Joe Satriani. Joe had a major impact on Danny’s style and songwriting. In the 90’s, Danny won the Best of the Bay contest two years in a row and received airplay on FM 97.3. Danny has also appeared in Guitar World, Guitar for the Practicing Musician & Guitar Player Magazine. Danny recently has had songs used in the commercial field for Krank Amps radio trailers as well as instructional dvd’s for Cesar Gracie & Gracie Fighter. Danny’s Band has opened shows for Ronnie Montrose, The Eric Martin Band, Telsa Guitarist/Frank Hannon, Bass Legend Stu Hamm and Uli Jon Roth. In 2009 Danny was one of the 10 Finalists chosen by Guitar Player Magazine for their Superstar Competition. You can catch Danny gigging in the SF Bay Area with his instrumental trio DJB, in which you will find players like former Whitesnake bassist Uriah Duffy trading licks with Danny!!” To find out more about DJB, visit http://www.dannyjones.net/ or  https://www.facebook.com/pages/Danny-JonesMusicianGuitarist/237045499667619. Pick of the Week — In The Fold

This week’s pick of the week was created for the band In The Fold. “The band started with four members in about 2000/1 with Jim Beardow: guitar, Joe Ng: guitar & keyboards, Brendan Streeter: drums and (Jason Slater): bass. They did a short demo CD with three songs recorded but no vocals as they were experimenting with sounds. Jim was then offered a job in the big old USA and has since married, had child and stayed settled over there. Jim now plays with a band called Shwa in America on guitar. The rest of them drifted apart until a couple of years ago. They started writing music again as a three piece band and recorded three songs in October last year and are due to go back in the studio in January where they have even more songs. They are all based in the south east of England (Sussex and Kent). They are yet to gig with their new line up, but once the next recording has been completed, They hope to get out there. Links to the band are; http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/In-The-Fold/10150094620730403 and http://www.reverbnation.com/inthefold. The design that was used on In The Fold’s custom guitar picks is taken from what has become their kind-of signature picture for the band until they get some more photos etc. done. It was one of about 5 photos taken for them by a local photographer friend. It is actually of an abandoned mental asylam in East Sussex which has since been demolished. The design was printed on our acetal picks, which are the best material to support full color photo designs. To create your own custom guitar picks, visit www.claytoncustom.com today!

Pick of the Week — Warrior Spirit Band

This week’s Pick of the Week was created for a unique band known as the Warrior Spirit Band. “They are the first all wounded warrior band in the US. Their mission is to bring awareness to various disabilities our veterans and soldiers face once they come home after war. They use music as a healing tool and a way to tell their stories of the experiences they had during combat and the struggles they have faced since coming home. Their goal is to make sure that every veteran that has a disability knows that there is help….and giving up is never an option! The Warrior Spirit band has the potential to do so much for our men and women of the armed forces that have sacrificed their ability to lead a normal life after being wounded or disabled in a combat zone. Warrior Spirit will help bring selected veterans outreach programs into the spotlight and will raise awareness of the struggles that our service men and women go through upon returning home and re-acclimating to a normal life.” Find out more about this amazing group at http://www.warriorspiritband.com/ Warrior Spirit Band’s picks were made on our white pearl material, which gives their logo an awesome 3-D effect and makes the gradient in the text really pop. Pick of the Week — 80hD

This week’s Pick of the Week was made for the band 80hD, “which was formed this summer in order to perform at their North St. Paul, MN high school reunion.  They pulled together four people who graduated in the same year, which was no easy task, considering most of them had not jammed in a long, long time.  And their vocalist, although an accomplished singer, had never been in a band!  The reunion was a success and they decided to continue with their little experiment. A few months later, Bob (guitar) hosted a huge party which included having an opportunity to play at a local bar called the Dugout Bar in Mahtomedi, MN.  Several hundred of their closest friends and family came out to the show – it was a huge success for 80hD and the Dugout Bar! Today, they are playing gigs and drawing crowds none of them could have ever imagined 5 months ago.  Their fan base is already insanely loyal and is growing by the day.  They are having an absolute blast!  Their logo was designed by a high school friend/graphics designer/musician.  And frankly, everyone that sees it says the same thing – “that is an awesome band logo dude!”
80hD is a 5 piece cover band with a female vocalist.  Their music ranges from acoustic KT Tunstall and Amy Winehouse, to full on rock with Van Halen, Pantera, Poison, Blondie, and Nirvana, to name a few.  Their fans enjoy the fact that their lead vocalist can reach such diverse musical ranges, while at the same time creating a pure rock ‘n roll experience!
80hD brings 100% energy and an emphasis of fun to every show they do -they ensure that their audience feels like they are they true rock stars :)”  Their Website: theband80hd.com Their Facebook Page: http://www.facebook.com/theband80hd. Here is a testimony from guitarist Bob, who ordered the custom guitar picks for the band: “I was looking to purchase customized guitar picks for our new band 80hD, and simply did a Google search to find the company.  The ease-of-use of the design interface allowed me to quickly create, design, and purchase our unique pick.  And the subsequent customer service has been tremendous…thank you!” -Bob  The 80hD guitar picks were made on our white delrin guitar pick material, which worked out really well with their full color logo.  To order your own customized picks, visit www.claytoncustom.com today!

Pick of the Week — Kyle Reed

This week’s Pick of the Week was made for musician, singer, songwriter and band leader, Kyle Reed. The genres of Kyle’s music include Alternative and Acoustic. His label is Indie. “Kyle travels pretty much everywhere with several beat up notebooks containing pieces of his life in the form of songs and lyrics. Some of the songs contained in these notebooks see the light of day quite often while others not so much, some are works in progress, some are just sketches and some stand right up and get your attention, top all that with excellent musicianship, an ear for melody and an uncanny knack for arranging and you have well crafted, musically engaging songs that capture your attention and burn their way into your memory banks. An up and coming singer/songwriter, Kyle Reed is pushing his way into the music world, playing 4-6 shows a week with his band or solo and writing music whenever he can… currently in the studio working on a album which he hopes to release this coming spring. For more info… please check out news feeds to see what’s up with Kyle Reed!” http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Kyle-Reed-Band/216181001758585 We chose Kyle’s pick this week because we like the classic style of his design. He used a black background against our acetal material guitar picks, and it turned out really nicely. You can create and order your own custom picks today at www.claytoncustom.com!

Pick of the Week — Herbango

This week’s Pick of the Week was made for a band called Herbango. “The band is based in Sacramento, California.  Herbango plays a mix of songs which sound like folk, rock, blues or country, so the genre can be hard to label. In addition to original music, the band interprets tunes composed by Bob Dylan, the Rolling Stones and others in their own way.  Herbango performances may include versions of traditional music taken from country, bluegrass or even celtic sources, but redone to give them an upbeat rock and roll flavor.  The band mixes acoustic instruments, such as fiddle, clarinet, flute, upright bass, mandolin or even harp, with organ, electric guitar and drums to put a new spin on some great old music.” To find out more about Herbango, visit http://www.herbango.com/. Herbango’s picks were made on our white pearl pick material, which goes great with the green and yellow colors in the art. Create and order your own custom picks today at www.claytoncustom.com!

Pick of the Week — Blue Eyed Blonde

This week’s Pick of the Week was ordered by Clayton Customer and Musician Fred Hiscock. Fred is 39
and is from St john’s, nl, Canada. Here is a little about Fred in his own words: “I’ve been playing the guitar and singing for 24 years now and have been performing live for over 20 years. I live in the province of Newfoundland, a large island off the east coast of Canada, and have travelled all over the island performing mostly cover music. Our band Blue Eyed Blonde has enjoyed great success in the local cover music scene for the past nine years and we have plans to record in the future. We are a high energy and entertaining five piece rock band with a female lead singer, bass, keyboards, drums and guitar. When I decided to look for a custom guitar pick, I knew Steve Clayton and his team could deliver. We designed the logo ourselves (logo was created by former band member Chris Sooley)  and use it on all BEB merchandise we sell.” To find out more about Blue Eyed Blonde, check out their facebook group at  http://www.facebook.com/groups/blueeyedblonde/. Pick of the Week — Jeff Latham Band

This week’s Pick of the Week was created by Jeff Latham for the Jeff Latham band. We really liked the full color logo that was printed on our white pearl rounded triangle picks. Here is a little about Jeff and his band: “Growing up in West Texas on a heavy diet of mom’s Johnny Paycheck and dad’s Don Williams, Jeff Latham was greatly influenced by the country classics which is decidedly evident in his voice.  From George Jones and Hank Williams Jr. to contemporary country artists Toby Keith and Jason Aldean. The Jeff Latham Band’s set list attempts to strike a balance between the old and the new with stops in the Texas singer/songwriter scene along the way. Their “Rocky-Tonk” style essentially captures the essence of Texas dive-bar country. Sit down, have a drink, or get up and dance. Either way, you will enjoy the show. To find out more about The Jeff Latham Band, visit www.thejefflathamband.com. Pick of the Week — The Madow Brothers

This week’s Pick of the Week was created for an unusual band called The Madow Brothers…the team here at Clayton really loved their story! “The Madow Brothers – Dr. Richard Madow and Dr. David Madow, are two dentists (and brothers) who have been teaching their colleagues how to have more successful practices and enjoy their profession more for over 22 years. In 1995, they had a crazy idea – that instead of being a boring snoozefest, a dental seminar could be like a rock concert. With that in mind they created TBSE – an amazing dental event with full staging, rock and roll sound and lighting, celebrity speakers, loud music, crazy videos, and most of all, dentists and team members from all around the world dancing in the aisles and having the time of their lives!
This annual event happens every fall in Las Vegas – and The Madow Brothers get to hit the stage, playing crazy and hilarious dental songs to well over 2000 attendees. It is often referred to as ‘The Woodstock Of Dentistry!’  Besides their annual Vegas event, they get to tour the continent, speaking and playing music to audiences in every major city in North America.
They always finish each performance with a live song – and they can’t wait to throw their custom Clayton picks into the crowd!” They say that it “has been fantastic to share their enthusiasm for music and performance with such great people. Musicians and performers are found in all walks of life – even dentistry! We are thankful to be able to share this with so many others.” To learn more about this unique duo, check out one of their dental music videos: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t7LzIUtlXOQ. The Madow Brothers’ picks were made on our white pearl pick material. We really liked the classy look of their logo on the marbleized white background. Pick of the Week — Video Games Live

We are proud to feature an amazing pick design for this week’s Pick of the Week! They were designed by Clayton customer Tommy Tallarico. “Tommy is a veritable video game industry icon.  As one of the most successful video game composers in history, he has helped revolutionize the gaming world, creating unique audio landscapes that enhance the video gaming experience.  Tallarico has been writing music for video games for more than 21 years.  He has won over 45 industry awards and has worked on more than 275 game titles; to date.  No one in the history of the video game industry has ever worked on more titles and projects.  In 2008, he was enshrined in the Guinness Book of World Records and currently holds 3 Guinness World Records including the person who has worked on the most commercially released video games.  In 2005 he launched his highly successful worldwide Video Games Live concert series which opened at the Hollywood Bowl with the LA Philharmonic.” The team here at Clayton was really exited about Tommy’s picks, because the design is intricate with a variety of shading, but came out beautifully on our white pearl pick material. Pick of the Week — Borrowed Time

This week’s Pick of the Week is for a Blues/Rock jam band/cover band in suburban Chicago called Borrowed Time.  Here is a little about the band from guitarist Michael Sommerfeld: “What we really are is a bunch of old friends with wives and kids who started getting together at a studio on Thursday nights to just jam for the hell of it.  After about 5 years we realized we were making some good music and we should start playing in front of people.  So we started playing local bars, and had our friends come my.  The gig offers just kept coming, and we will continue to play as long as we can (or the wives let us).  We pretty much will play for free (or at least beer), as this is not our career, but rather an escape from our careers.  Our song repertoire includes Beatles, Petty, Dylan, Grateful Dead, and basically any song that sounds good with a jam.   You can see a a little more about us in a very incomplete website www.borrowedtimefan.com.  Also would add that we have a face book page
http://www.facebook.com/pages/Borrowed-Time/175263943986. I was very proud of my pick design, so I am very excited that it is being acknowledged.  Your website interface is superb, and I can’t say enough about the timing of the delivery, as well as how great the picks turned out.  So thanks!!!!” Michael designed his picks for your white pearl material, which gives a cool, almost 3-D appearance for their logo. Pick of the Week — Fragile Apples

This week’s Pick of the Week was designed for the band Fragile Apples. We liked the simplicity and creativity of the design..the bold black graphic works out really well on our white delrin picks. Benjamin Olson and The Fragile Apples from Nashville, TN are an independent Rock ‘N’ Roll band who have the direct mission of making live music fun again! Involving as many fun characters as possible, as well as combining soaring vocals with killer guitars and grooves, The Fragile Apples are dancing their way into the hearts of those who join them at their concerts (parties). Pick of the Week — Midnight Run

This week’s Pick of the Week is for a band called Midnight Run. These picks were created on our white pearl material, and we love how Midnight Run’s artwork, with its bold colors, has a really cool 3-D look. They also chose a rounded triangle shape which added extra space for the design. Here is a little info about the band: “Dedicated to replicating the sounds of the phenomenal band, Journey, Midnight Run delivers incredible vocals, incredible sound and an incredible show. Each musician is committed to providing as true a sound to the original Journey band as possible, and the result is an experience that takes listeners back to times they cherish, while introducing a new generation to music they can love. Journey music shaped the 70s and 80s and today Journey continues to tour and create new albums, showcasing resiliency and talent. Midnight Run’s talents and commitment to perfection delivers music that is technically perfect, soulful and memorable. In the end, what separates good bands from great bands is passion. The five musicians of Midnight Run have always been passionate about music. Each took a different path in developing their talents and arriving at where they are today. Good tribute bands are dedicated to the music of the band they are covering. There’s lots of self-reflection and a continual dedication to the music. The work of Midnight Run in covering the Journey songbook is in itself a tribute to the music and a commitment to listeners to have a fantastic experience hearing the band. Midnight Run delivers: in music; in vocals; in showmanship; and especially in passion. A Midnight Run show is filled with energy and soul, whether it’s the driving beat of Any Way You Want It or the tender ballad When You Love a Woman. Lots of audience dancing and singing-along is standard fare at a Midnight Run show. The Midnight Run experience is excellent for everyone – those who book them appreciate the professionalism and promptness, and those who hear Midnight Run savor memories and appreciate the music of Journey all over again. Pick of the Week — Taking Fire

This week’s Pick of the Week was created for the band Taking Fire. “Near the end of 2009, former members of A Bitter End Ash Abdullah, Gabe Zagarolli, and O’bryan Ruiz hooked up with virtuoso guitarist and guitar instructor Albert Burrola and young phenom guitar shredder Anthony Burrola. All sharing in similar musical taste and the need to create the most dynamic, intense, and melodic music they could, the five musicians began collaborating on their first album together under a new name; Taking Fire. Brutal, intelligent, thought-provoking and inspiring are of but a few words that describe Taking Fire’s brand of metal. Since their union, the band has played all over the Los Angeles and Orange County areas, gaining new fans at every show. Recently, Taking Fire finished up the recording of their debut album ‘Battle Plan.'” Find out more about Taking Fire on their ReverbNation site at http://www.reverbnation.com/c./rpk/174536. Taking Fire’s picks were made on our acetal material in a rounded triangle shape. The logo for the band is a perfect fit for the oversized rounded triangle picks. Pick of the Week — Priest

This week, we are proud to feature Priest as the musician who ordered this awesome design for Pick of the Week! “Priest is the former guitarist for Shadows Lie, Sick, and Sikbellamuerte and is the  creator and founder of the rock band The Deadlyz. Do you know Priest? Chances are you have heard about him, or sensed him in the music you listen to. As versatile as a circus performer, he is a true entertainer in his own indistinguishable way. Priest has been everywhere from Anchorage, Alaska to Orlando, Florida with many memorable stops in between. Having the opportunity to perform with such notable musicians such as Erben Perez (Bassist for Latin music sensation Marc Anthonys) and Ernie C (founding member of Body Count), Priest has proven himself a dedicated musician, whether it be writing/performing original material with his own musical creation, or session musician-for-hire gigs. While living in Hawaii at age six, a $3.00 Ukulele would change Priest’s world forever. By age seven, he not only mastered playing, he also got to experience the stage life, thanks to his first mentor: Hawaiian sensation Uncle Willie K encouraged Priest to perform in front of crowds, not only in small venues, but also on the sidewalks of the Fishermans Warf on Front Street in the section of Maui known as Lahaina. After Hawaii, Priest returned to his hometown of Anchorage, Alaska where he began to form bonds and bands with fellow musicians. Taking those acts to the next level by entering (and winning) Local Battle of the Bands, and Guitar Riff Contests, Priest was privileged enough to take his Band Se7en to the Seattle Music Experience Projects main Stage in Seattle, Washington. Upon his arrival in New York City, Priest sought out the many musical facets the city has to offer. Among those was the opportunity to work with hard rock band Shadows Lie, who, at the time, was being produced by uber producers Todd Terry (the godfather of house music) and Bill Klatt (Rolling Stones, Cher, Jay-Z, Days of the New). With a new guidance of performance and professionalism, both on stage and studio-wise, Priest still utilizes those lessons today. Priest notes his influences as (but not limited to) the following: Prince, John 5, Robin Fink, BumbleFoot, Carlos Santana, Zakk Wylde, Queen, Pink, H.I.M , Keith Sweat, Rob Zombie, Nine Inch Nails, Sevendust, etc. Available for hire as a session musician, and touring guitarist, visually and creatively, you can check out more on priest at www.youtube.com/priestworld, http://www.myspace.com/priestsworld, and www.zazzle.com/priestworld.” Priest’s picks, with a the clever purple cartoon graphic, were made on our marbleized white pearl material (they also feature his signature on the back side of the picks. Pick of the Week — Chelsea Berry

This week’s Pick of the Week is an elegant design created for musician Chelsea Berry. “Chelsea is a 27-year-old Alaskan born singer/songwriter with the edge, power, and finesse of legends. Livingston Taylor calls her vocals ‘world class’ and her presence has been described by listeners as ‘compelling… she draws the entire house into her world like moths to a flame.’ Her vocals are smooth and lyrics reminiscent of the folk music of the sixties. Recently, she appeared as the cover of The Noise magazine in Boston, has been featured multiple times on Boston’s 92.5 The River, and has played venues from Boston’s House of Blues to the Shalin Liu in Rockport, MA and Carnegie Hall in New York City. She has opened for artists such as Livingston Taylor, Laurie Lewis, Roger McGuinn Tom Rozum, and more. Chelsea falls somewhere between Sheryl Crow and Joni Mitchell… with a little Alaskan edge.” Visit her site at www.chelseaberry.com Check out her sound in the music section. Purchase music at iTunes and cdbaby.com. Chelsea’s picks were made on our acetal material, and we love the how the light tan/brown colors came out. We also though that it was a really good use of a full bleed design (meaning that the art goes all the way to the edges of the pick). Design your own custom picks today at www.claytoncustom.com!

Pick of the Week — Alien Blues Project

This week’s Pick of the Week was created and ordered by Dave James from Norwalk, Ohio. He has played all sorts of music for the past 30 + years. He fronted the band Dave James and the Twang Factor for fifteen years, recorded 7 cds, and came as close as you can get to getting a deal in Nashville. After that he started a band with his wife called “Jamestown.” They recorded a couple of cds and have since parted ways. The next logical step for Dave was blues, something he’s always wanted to do… hence “Dave James Alien Blues Project”. A five piece band with 3 girl backup singers. Dave reports:  “I’ve gotta say it’s the most fun I’ve ever had playing, performing, singing  and writing. This is a new project so all promo is in the works, we have started to record the first cd ” Cigars, Guitars and the Blues”. I wanted to bring in all my influences so it’s blues based, but with some rock, funk and country flavor. We’ve done a handful of concerts and what a blast. Keep checking in the future for music and videos.”  Visit their website: davejamesalienblues.com ( under construction)  or email  davejamesalienblues@yahoo.com. He has written and produced most of the music he has performed, and is a graduate of Ohio Christian University, having received a degree in Christian Ministries and Music.  He is now working on a Masters in Divinity from Wesley Biblical Seminary.  Ryan was diagnosed in 2007 with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.  He had a very large tumor in his chest that stopped their summer tour while he underwent 3 surgeries, 6 months of chemotherapy and 20 radiation treatments.  3 Years later his cancer returned and forced him back into treatments and, finally, a stem cell transplant.  He is back on the road and in the studio recording with Josh Brown from “Full Devil Jacket” and “Day of Fire” and producer Rogers Masson.  Only by the grace of God he sings and shares his story at every concert scheduled! Pick of the Week — Bodega Bob

This week’s Pick of the Week was created by guitarist Bodega Bob. The picks are acetal material, with a really cool, colorful graphic that makes them stand out amongst the picks we have made recently. Here is a little info about Bodega Bob, in an exerpt taken from his bio at http://www.cheapandeasymusic.com/bodega.htm: “Bodega Bob has been slingin’ a six string since the age of fifteen. Raised in the border territories between West Virginia and western Pennsylvania he cut his teeth on Hank, Johnny, Lester & Earl. In a bizarre and humorous twist of fate, Bodega BobBodega was introduced to Polka recording stars Wanda & Stephanie and Frankie Yankovich and blew trumpet on the Polka circuit for several years with the Moleks in such bands as the Silver Stars and the Polka Dynamics. During his Vietnam & Cold War era Navy career, Bodega played guitar in liberty barrooms across two oceans and five of the seven seas. His experience as an acoustic street musician in Spain & Africa provided him with a rich and earthy outdoor sound that removes any barriers between the audience and the musicians. Over his musical journey, Bodega has performed with such diverse personalities as Christian Music vocalist & recording artist Jamie Lambert, Irish balladeer Eddie Delaher, Memphis recording artist Wendell Craig, and most recently as the front man for the successful regional trio Trigger Happy.Bodega’s original songs range from the funny to the gritty…and his affinity for the box guitar and his barroom-bass vocals form the crux of Cheap & Easy’s earthy sound.” Find out more at http://www.cheapandeasymusic.com/. Pick of the Week — Evan Frankel/Michael Alexander Blues Band/Young Turk

This week’s Pick of the Week was made for Evan Frankel, who is currently playing with the Michael Alexander Blues Band. Michael Alexander is formerly of Young Turk. “Young Turk was a great Miami based band that started out as a Rock band with a sleeze rock feel, sort-of like poison, but without all the big hair, spandex and make-up. When they came out they had great sounding tunes that could stand up to any of the typical Metal/Rock tunes of the 80’s. Their first release was a album entitled “Do you know where your daughters are?”. It was a great first effort equipped with songs that stuck in your mind when you heard them. One song had an anthem feel telling the listener to “Reach for that pot of Gold” while another song was a great ballad telling of the “Winter Nights” that keep calling.  They brought on stage with them an intense feeling of LETS PARTY that rubbed off on the crowd as they played and made every one feel the vibe!” Find out more about Young Turk by visiting http://www.myspace.com/young_turk_music. To learn about The Michael Andrews Blues Band, check out their video on http://www.youtube.com/user/bluescrumpet?feature=mhum. We loved the art that was used for Evan’s picks because it is creative, colorful, and unusual when compared with other designs submitted by customers. The design was printed on our acetal small teardrop pick material. Design your own picks at www.claytoncustom.com today!
