2011 Playmate of the Year Claire Sinclair came out to sign at our NAMM booth this year. Here are a few photos we wanted to share, also for more about Claire you can visit her website http://www.pinupclairesinclair.com/.
We had such an amazing time at NAMM this year. Kyle Gass and John Konesky signed at our booth on Saturday. We just wanted to share some photos with you all who may not have made it, check out the line, it was crazy! We will be sharing more photos this week of Steve Stevens, Playmate of 2011 Claire Sinclair, Josh Burke of Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, and Robert Kearns who all signed at our booth this year.
We had lots of different artists singing at our NAMM 2011 booth this year, which included Booboo and Fivel Stewart of “Booboo and Fivel”. You may recognize Booboo from the very popular Twlight Saga movies. He plays the youngest warewolf Seth Clearwater in the series. Him and his sister Fivel are currently in the band “Booboo and Fivel”, and have released a single titled “Rainy Day”. You can view the video at the bottom of this post. Booboo is an official endorsed artist at Clayton, Inc. so we brought him into NAMM to help promote his amazing talents as a guitarist and drummer. As he waited for the limo to pick him up to bring him to the convention center, he played around on the drums. See the video here: Below are some pictures from the signing at our NAMM booth.
We are proud to announce Kyle Gass (KG) of Tenacious D/Trainwreck as our new featured artist on our website at http://www.steveclayton.com/featuredartist.php! We have worked with KG for a very long time, supplying both himself and Jack Black with their custom picks on our Acetal Rounded Triangle .63mm.

Kyle even signed autographs at our booth at the last NAMM trade show. In addition to Tenacious D, Kyle has formed the band Trainwreck. KG describes Trainwreck as “a cornucopia of rock and a 5-headed hydra of pleasure”. Trainwreck is a eclectic mix of Southern Rock, Prog-Rock, Boogie, and straight-up Classic Rock and Roll, along with comedy banter and lyrics derived from the characters they’ve developed within the band. In late 2009 they released their debut album, “The Wreckoning”. It album contains 15 tracks of what they call “Wreck and Roll.” The band is fronted by biker-hayseed Darryl Donald (”Lee” of Tenacious D, or JR), and Kyle Gass (aka Klip Calhoun), and containing most of Tenacious D’s live/studio band (John Shredman, Boy Johnny, and Dallas St. Bernard). Trainwreck is currently on tour, so if you are in any of the following areas, make sure to go check out this unique band!

The Playmate of the Year Miss Ida Ljungqvist was in full bunny costume signing autographs and handing out picks with her signature on them at NAMM 2010 for us. She had a very long line of fans waiting to get her autograph! To see the whole line of Playboy products please check out our website at: www.playboyguitars.com.
I have been asked so many times how long our line was at NAMM to meet Kyle Gass. We do know that it spanned a couple of isles and was extremly long. We were lucky enough to recently obtain some video footage that shows at least half of the length of the line. The other half of the line goes to the right, and was broken up in order to allow traffic to flow by. Click on the picture below to view the Quicktime movie.
We have been getting lots of requests to put up pictures of our 2010 NAMM booth. I finally got around to getting them on here. We had a double decker booth this year with a lounge at the top. In addition we had 2 sound proof offices to conduct meetings in. As anyone who has ever been to NAMM knows, it is very loud! Without the sound proof rooms it can be quite impossible to get any business done, especially in Hall C were we are located.
