Blake Wrinn

Products used: Acetal picks .50mm & .63mm

In addition to offering quality products with precision craftsmanship & detail, Steve Clayton, Inc. has one of the best Artist relations departments I’ve come across. They are always so kind to me. A big thanks to everyone at Steve Clayton.

Blake Wrinn has performed and led worship across the United States, sharing the stage with many top artists including Ricky Scaggs, Mercy Me, Lee Brice, Boyz II Men, Craig Morgan, Eli Young Band, .38 Special, Thompson Square, The Nashville Symphony, The Kentucky Headhunters, Lenny Leblanc, and Josh Thompson. He also played on demos for many top Nashville songwriters including Sarah Buxton, Ben Hayslip, Jimmy Yeary, Monty Criswell, and Mike Weaver (Big Daddy Weave).

Currently, Blake plays sessions ranging from Sound-A-Like companies to A-list writer demos that go straight into the hands of the artist (i.e. Rascal Flatts, Jason Aldean, Tyler Farr, Big Daddy Weave, Kelly Pickler, and Florida Georgia Line, Rodney Atkins, Leah Turner).

“Over the past four years, I have been focusing on the world of studio sessions.  I am always striving to consistently deliver clean, tasteful, and diligently refined guitar work in order to not waste an artist’s, producer’s, or company’s time and money.”

“I was raised in a small town south of Nashville, TN with a veteran road musician father, school teaching mother, and brother who shares the same passion for music. At a young age I was exposed to
music and the fundamentals involved in playing with a band,” says Blake. “What I also consider to be a great part of my upbringing was being exposed to the love of God. I feel I could go on and on about the ways God has blessed me. A beautiful wife and child, amazing friends, and most importantly a relationship with Him.”

* From 2006-2010, Blake attended Motlow State Community College for Emergency Medical Services under a Full-Ride Jazz Guitar Scholorship.
