One of our most popular pick materials is our Ultem. Here is a really nice design on our Ultem done by Noah Bellamy. Please check out his website at:
www.jesseandnoah.com. Noah and his brother are a duo from Florida that grew up on a ranch. Jesse is the
singer/songwriter, while Noah is guitar and vocal harmony. They have toured on the East Coast, and in Europe. We love how the flamingo on their pick represents their family roots in Florida!

These picks show what summer is about. Weddings, butterflies, and enjoying nature are all popular during the summer season. These were all done on our white delrin custom guitar picks. The black and white wedding couple design is an image you can find on our claytoncustom.com website. Our white delrin custom guitar picks start at just $39 dollars for 100 picks. What impresses me about our white delrins is they provide such a comfortable grip and they have a very clean white look. Let’s not forget that they are as light as a feather. As we all know, The 4th of July is just around the corner, and we wanted to display some patriotic Clayton custom picks for the occasion! Shown here is a design that was just produced today, and it is a great example of how we can show pride for our country, even on our guitar picks! These are standard shape white delrin picks, and we have mentioned before that our white delrins are a great material for making colors pop. So the white delrin picks are prefect to create the red, white and blue trio that will be all over the place this weekend! We also liked this design because it is two-sided, and the customer did a great job of tying the two sides together with the artwork. Delrin picks are also the most recommended for two-sided designs. These types of picks would be great to give out at an Independence Day party, or to throw out to the crowd at a concert on the 4th! If you have a party or special event coming up, you can use any theme on a custom guitar pick to add something unique and interesting that guests will love for the originality! Design your pick today on our custom design website.

For fans of all kinds signatures are always something to collect. Some artists will actually sign their guitar picks at shows while many others will have them made on their custom guitar picks. A lot of signatures have been placed on our white delrins as you can see in this photo the white delrin brings out the signatures the best. The great thing about our designer is you can easily adjust the size of your own signature to the picks. Just scan your signature, save it on your computer and then place it on your favorite custom guitar pick. I’d also suggest using a marker to make the signature standout. At Steve Clayton, we offer a variety of picks for custom design. One of the materials that can be used for custom creations is called ultem. Ultem picks are a favorite of our customers because of the high tone quality that they provide, and the grainy non-slip feel of the material itself. Ultem picks are available in three different shapes; standard, rounded triangle, and teardrop. You may also choose from 8 different gauges, ranging from a very flexible .38mm to an extra-heavy 1.2mm. Ultem picks can work with designs of single or multiple colors. However, when you design your custom ultem pick on our design site, keep in mind that black, brown, and red are the print color options available. Don’t be shy to use all three colors in your design, because, as you can see by the image shown here, they all look great against the tan background of the pick. So, if you are looking for a classic look for your personal picks, give ultem a try!

For this week, we selected a nice pick that combines a graphic with a signature on our Acetal. What great design! Gina has an amazing voice and style to her music. Here is her bio: “Singer/Songwriter Gina Borys’ music is moody and dark, drawing on life experiences, perfectly blending heavy metal and acoustic rock. With a love of all music from Led Zeppelin to Radiohead, her songs incorporate elements as expansive as the spaghetti western scores of Ennio Morricone and the gentle crooning of Tony Bennett.
Playing solo, as well as with an all-female Led Zeppelin cover band, Gina delivers a stirring performance. Whether she is emulating the iconic guitar work of Jimmy Page, or just connecting emotionally in an intimate setting, its purely her and her guitar.” Please make sure to check our her amazing video at: http://www.love-resurrected.com/lastgig/

These are some really nice designs that we have received from our customers lately that utilize the colors black, white, and red. We find that this trio can make for some really nice art since the colors compliment each other so well. Shown here are three acetal picks and a white delrin. The white delrin pick sports a school mascot, so the colors of the school are already black and red and they pop really well against the bright white of the picks. It just goes to show that custom picks can be used for anything, even to show school spirit!! We wanted to draw some extra attention to the pick with a checkerboard pattern on it. This is a great use of our overbleed option for custom design, and we love how they turned out. It is a double sided printing, with just a subtle design change between the front and the back that adds some interest to the art. Thanks Clayton customers, for giving us such great designs to work with! Try out your black, red and white design on our custom site today!

Yesterday, June 16, was a special day here at Steve Clayton, Inc. Steve celebrated his 60th birthday!! And what better way to celebrate than with custom picks? The staff here surprised Steve with a decadent chocolate cake, decorated with candles and some custom birthday guitar picks made especially for the occasion! The picks were our green delrin material, imprinted fondly with the text “Happy Birthday Steve!! 2010.” The picks made a great decoration, as they were very easy to stick in the frosting on the edge of the cake to add some flare. This is a great example of how custom picks can be used for anything, even birthday parties! So here’s to you, Steve, for being the founder of this amazing company, and we wish you all the best for this year. Happy Birthday! To design your own custom birthday picks: Clayton Custom
